The Roster

Three ensembles, built to move a New York room.

Every Mareé band is hand-assembled from a roster of forty New York musicians — Juilliard graduates, Broadway pit veterans, and Lincoln Center regulars. Below, the three configurations our NYC couples ask for most.

The Mareé Orchestra
The Signature Orchestra

The Mareé Orchestra

9, 11, 13 or 15 pieces

Our flagship ensemble. Built for the room — from black-tie ballrooms at The Plaza to skyline rooftops in DUMBO. The horn section pushes, the vocalists alternate sets in seven languages, and the dance floor never empties before two.

Classical players who moonlight at Lincoln Center. Equally at home with a Pachelbel prelude as a string arrangement of Frank Ocean — every chart is written for your couple, in-house, by our music director.

By Venue Type

The right ensemble for every New York room.

Acoustic quirks, guest counts, and city sound ordinances all shape what we recommend. A starting point — refined together on our first call.

Manhattan Ballroom

The Plaza · The Pierre · Cipriani

13–15 piece Orchestra + Strings for ceremony

Tall ceilings and 300+ guests demand a full horn section and dual vocalists to fill the room.

Brooklyn Loft / Industrial

Weylin · The Bordone · 501 Union

11-piece Orchestra, late-night DJ handoff

Exposed brick eats high frequencies — we tune the PA for warmth and bring an in-house engineer.

Tribeca & DUMBO Rooftops

Tribeca Rooftop · 74Wythe · The Bordone

9-piece Orchestra + Cocktail Jazz Trio

Outdoor sound ordinances mean a tighter rig — we deploy compact line arrays and a curfew-aware setlist.

Hamptons Estate

Private estates · Wölffer · Topping Rose

Strings (ceremony) + 11-piece Orchestra + Jazz (cocktails)

Tented receptions on the lawn — we coordinate generator power, weather contingencies, and ferry logistics.

Hudson Valley Vineyard

Blue Hill at Stone Barns · Brotherhood

String Quartet + 9-piece Orchestra

Intimate guest counts (80–150) favor a smaller, more acoustic-leaning configuration.

Intimate Townhouse

The Bowery Hotel · Bowery House · Private brownstones

Jazz Trio + 7-piece micro-band

Sub-100 guest list, salon-style — soft volumes, refined repertoire, a single vocalist.

Repertoire

A 600-song book, cover-to-cover memorized.

A taste of what fills a Mareé dance floor. Couples receive the full book at signing and choose every must-play and do-not-play.
